Day 268

Busride Sunset
It's not uncommon for us to see one of these beautities on the way home from an away game.
But it's far less likely that I have my camera.
Today I was lucky enough to have it and I got some decent shots.

Day 267

Monarch
After shooting some landscapes of the foliage I was walking away as a came across this little guy.
It's rare that a creature will stay so still like this one did for me, usually they get scared and run/fly/swim away.
I am so glad this monarch butterfly stayed put!

Day 262

Suicide Awareness
We wore these yellow ribbons in our hair for our game today to show our support for suicide awareness.
Sending all of my love to those affected by this tragedy, we have such a strong community and I know we will get through this.

Day 261

For Ian
A horrible tragedy took place in our community today. We lost a friend, a classmate, a teammate, and a great guy. He will be so dearly missed, and I wish that he knew thow much love this community had for him before today. It is important that we express ourselves and let people know how much we care about each other, before it is too late. A little bit of kindness goes a long way. Reach out to people; be kind, encouraging, and considerate. If you are ever having bad feelings, don't be afraid to reach out to someone, know that everyone is here for you. Stay strong, all. And Rest In Peace, Ian. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family and friends.

Day 258

Bragg Hill Pano
I've done at least one of these already during this project but the view from the top of Bragg Hill is just too good to pass up.
This is a 4 image panorama stitched together in post.

Day 257

Retina
I'm hoping to shoot some more film this year, it's such a privledge to be able to develop right at school.
This shot was taken with my lens off of the camera.
I was holding it very close, but just enough away from the sensor creates this unique tilf shift effect, I really like it.

Day 256

Drops
After a rainy day today, plenty of raindrops had accumulated on my window.
I'm so glad to be taking a photo a day again!

Break

Sorry for the Break
Hi guys. When I started this project the goal was to take a picture every day for the entire year. Unfortunately, that was unable to happen. I continued it all the way through camp but when I got back I was very busy and unable to keep up with everything going on. I took a much needed break but I'm here to say that I'm back at it! I've missed taking photos so much and I'm excited to get back into the daily routine of shooting and posting. Thanks for sticking around.

-Ella
P.S. this is a light painting shot I took over labor day weekend at my lake house.

Day 227

The Final Countdown
Last night at camp.
This has been the greatest summer of my life, thank you to everyone who made it incredible.
I hope to get the privilege to return next year, but if I don't, I definitely ended on a good note.

Day 226

RIP Waterski
Final year of waterskiing at camp, one of my favorite program areas.

Day 225

Another shot on senior beach.

Day 224

While the water polo team practices at G-Fro, there are tons of other activities going on in main camp.

Day 222

After an incredible stay at Lakes of the Clouds hut last night,
today we hiked down, returned to camp, and ran into the lake!

Day 219

Mt Washington Summit - 6288 ft
Despite experiencing a hailstorm 20 minutes from the summit, we made it!

Day 218

Incredible Mt. Washington Sunset
After a great first day of hiking, tonight we are staying at Hermit's campsite.
After dinner we hiked up to these rocks to watch the sunset.
This was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever experienced.

Day 217

Canoeing Day 2
Next stop, WASHINGTON!!!

Day 216

Light Streaks
Day one of our CIT trip – Canoeing along the Connecticut River.
The sun snuck behind this cloud and created these very interesting streaks, I couldn't help but snag a shot.

Day 215
