Pens Game!

This is the first ever photo of the day taken on my iPhone.

They don't allow big cameras in the arena but luckily my phone served me well.

It was a great game. Final score— Penguins: 4, Blackhawks: 1.

Window Raindrops

By focusing on the raindrops on the window of the plane, I created a bokeh effect with the lights in the background.

Tomorrow I leave for Pittsburgh for a Penguins vs Blackhawks game.

I figured a photo of my Crosby jersey was fitting since today is Day 87 and he the captain is #87.

Retina

This is an old German camera called the Kodak Retina that was made in the 1950s.

My grandmother gave it to me this past winter and I've been using it a lot in the last few days.

I'm excited to see how everything comes out, I'll be developing later this week.

Hockey March Intensive. 

For the the past week I have been running/teaching a photography MI with my friend. 

It was great to share our knowledge with the students, and lots of fun to take pictures all day! 

For our last photo opportunity we went to Thompson Arena to photograph the hockey game.

The circle around the moon (it's on the edges of the photo, kind of hard to see) is called a "Moon Dog".

I wish I had a little more time to shoot it and get it all in the frame but this will have to do.

Bloody Tablecloth

After accidentally knocking over one of m glasses, I continues to shoot and came out with this creepy photo.

Conveniently it was the red glass so it gives the illusion there it was filled with blood.
